Strengthening families

Strengthening Families: Our Approach

We believe that the most beneficial care and support for a child comes from a strong, loving family and community. Our strategic approach prioritizes strengthening these vital units, enabling them to provide the care children need, wherever possible, over institutional support.

  • Delivering Resources to the Community: We advocate for effective social protection strategies and cash transfer schemes that increase the flow of resources and support directly to the community level.
  • Supporting the Entire Family: Our interventions are designed to target the entire family unit, not just the vulnerable child. This ensures a comprehensive and sustainable support system for everyone.
  • Building Life Skills: We promote the development of age and gender-sensitive life skills for children, family members, and older caregivers. This empowers them with the tools they need to navigate challenges and build a resilient future together.
